"Fear not.", "Do not be afraid.", Do not fear.", "Be not afraid." Said often by God, Jesus and the angels of God
What frightens you? Sharks? Illness? People? Anxiety disorders are the most common mental illness in the U.S. Whether you call it anxiety, fear, apprehension, terror or something else, the fact is there’s lots of it in each of us.
Fear invades our lives through many channels. Some people grew up in a household of fear. Others may fear because of their lifestyle of going against societal rules and norms. Still others may fear because they can’t control situations like allowing their children to do something without their supervision. No matter what your fear is or why it exists, here’s a great truth that will set you free. Fear and faith can’t occupy the same space in your mind at the same time. You can either worship or you can worry.
Today, we’ll look at replacing our fears with trust…so the world will know there is a God in Heaven.
